Mourne Men’s Fellowship
We are men who meet to encourage each other in the gospel by listening to God’s Word and through real life discussion work out what it means for us as fathers, friends, workers and disciples.
Who is Men’s Fellowship for?
It is aimed for all ages of men who are followers of Jesus or those who want know what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Our diversity of ages and backgrounds make the discussions a thoroughly gritty and rewarding conversation, even if you only want to listen.
What activities are involved?
Our main focus is to study the bible, often with the help of DVD presentations and discuss the impact it should have on our lives. It is a very informal meeting leaving it easy to join in the discussion or sit and listen. The discussion often continues over coffee and tea. We also organize social events throughout the year including clay pigeon shooting, barbeques, hill walking, bowling etc.
Will it cost and is there an application/ enrolment form?
There is no cost, enrolment or obligation. We may ask you for contact details to keep you informed of upcoming events. The Men’s Fellowship is very informal operating a policy of ‘come when we can and leave when we must’.
When and where do you normally meet?
It is usually every other Friday at 8pm in the Church office.
How can I find out more?
If you are reading this it is probably easiest to contact us by email. It is also advertised in our church notices. Men’s Fellowship is organised by a steering group led by Richard Chestnutt
We will talk to anyone so please make yourself known. We even welcome latecomers and those dressed for work!
When does it all start?
Our first session will be 9th September though to May. We will also organize a couple of events over the summer.
